At HenderCare, we want to see our team members thrive and progress in their careers. To help aid this objective, we hold twice-yearly performance reviews where all internal staff are required to complete an Individual Performance Agreement and Development Plan.

FAQs

Why do I need to do an Individual Performance Agreement? 
The agreements focus on the bigger picture of your performance; the “what” (how successful you were at meeting your goals and the results you delivered) and the “how” (the skills, mindsets, and values you used to get there). They are an opportunity for self-reflection, feedback, and alignment between yourself and your manager and expectations for the coming year.

In addition to your KPIs, please think about your longer-term career plan and what your manager at HenderCare can do to support you in these goals.

Are all permanent staff required to complete this agreement?
Yes. All permanent HenderCare and HenderCare Foundation staff are required to complete their agreement and attend the review.

What should I be considering when updating or completing my agreement?
When setting goals, it may be helpful to remember the SMART model: Specific, Measurable, Ambitious (yet attainable), Relevant, and Time-bound.

How do I access my Individual Performance Agreement and Development Plan?
If you have previously completed a performance agreement with HenderCare, we ask that you please refer to your document. If you do not have a copy of this, please request it from Rosemary Hawker or Gules D’Orsi. Once updated, please submit to Gules D’Orsi before 24 December.

I have not completed this agreement before, where can I get a copy of the template?

What do I do once I have submitted my Individual Performance Agreement and Development Plan?
You will be contacted by your manager who will work with you to select a mutually agreeable time for your review. The review will need to take place in December 2021.
