Therapy for Children

HenderCare understands that each child has their own needs and goals. Our team members work closely with you to ensure your child makes the most of their NDIS plan and funding.

Our Allied Health team take a collaborative approach. We work with you, your support network, along with medical and other health professionals. This ensures we provide quality children’s therapy services (CTS).

Employing qualified professionals from a range of disciplines, we provide physiotherapy, speech pathology, occupational therapy and psychology services.

Physiotherapy

HenderCare’s physiotherapy team supports your child to meet their developmental milestones. Our qualified physiotherapists can assist with improving children’s gross motor skills for participation in play, school and after school activities.

Occupational Therapy

Enabling children to maintain and improve their function, safety, participation and independence in daily tasks and activities. Our OTs work with you and your child to identify and implement methods to support the development of fine motor and gross motor skills. Our OTs can assist with toileting, sleeping, social-emotional development, sensory and handwriting skills.

Speech Pathology

Our speech pathologists will be able to assist children who are having problems with communicating and/or who have problems with swallowing.

Psychology

In assessing and diagnosing specific issues, our psychologists work with your child to support their cognitive, behavioural and emotional needs.

Positive Behaviour Support

Positive Behaviour Support focuses on helping children, their families and their support networks with the tools and strategies they need to assist them to live their best lives.

Do you work in a school or kindergarten?

If you are a Principal, Personalised Learning Specialist, Educator or parent, you may be interested to know that HenderCare is able to run Early Childhood Screening Programs.

In this innovative program, Allied Health professionals attend your school or kindergarten. Through short, non-intrusive assessments, we provide qualified information and reporting. This helps identify children who may benefit from further ECEI services.

We provide a range of options for schools to cater for both parent-paid and school-paid options. To find out more and request a tailored quote, call our Allied Health Manager (WA), Zoe Morris on 61 194 828.

This service is currently only available in Western Australia, for inquiries relating to other states, please email alliedhealth@hendercare.com.au.

Private services

If you are not eligible for the NDIS but still require therapy assistance, we are able to provide these services privately. Please click here for a copy of our price list.
