Welcoming Mandy and Joanne to the HenderCare team

  • 2 mins

We’re pleased to introduce you to the two newest members of the HenderCare team; Joanne Money, our inaugural State Manager NSW & ACT, and Mandy De Cesare, our new National Disability Client Services Manager.
A renewed focus on NSW and the ACT
Joanne’s appointment represents an exciting step for us. As our first State Manager NSW & ACT, Joanne will be building our community of participants, consumers and staff across Sydney and Canberra.
Joanne brings a wealth of healthcare experience to our team. She has worked across mental and correctional health, corporate health, nursing agency and aged care, community care and disability support.
Joanne said she was excited to join the HenderCare team. “I’m passionate about helping older Australians live independently in their own homes for as long as possible,” she said.
“Empowering people living with disability is also a key driver for me. I’m looking forward to welcoming people across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory into the HenderCare community.”
From Veterans’ Home Care and Home Care Packages to NDIS plans, our growing team in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory is ready to support you.
Expanding our NDIS presence
Having worked as an Occupational Therapist for more than 25 years, Mandy is well-acquainted with the needs of people living with disability. She has worked with children and adults, and now brings her expertise to our team as our National Disability Client Services Manager.
Mandy said that supporting participants as they transition onto the NDIS is incredibly rewarding. “It’s a real privilege to have the opportunity to deliver truly individualised support to participants,” she said.
“I’m glad to be a part of the HenderCare Disability Services team, because I’ve seen firsthand the remarkable differences that a well-structured NDIS plan can make. We’re here to support participants in reaching their goals, whether that be through personal care, or getting out and about and connecting with their community.”
