First aid is a crucial skill for anyone who works in the aged care and disability sectors. All of our direct care staff have Provide First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID004) certification.
At HenderCare we regularly offer in-house first aid training including CPR.
Delivered by Karina, who is a Registered Nurse and accredited first aid trainer, this is just one of the ways we make sure our staff are the best-qualified in their field.
National Training Manager Peter Thorn says offering first aid training in-house gives our staff additional flexibility.
“If we are inducting new staff but they need to complete or refresh their first aid certification, we’re able to offer them training at a really competitive price,” he said.
“Our first aid training sessions are open to everyone, not just HenderCare employees. We welcome enquiries from people who aren’t already working with us.”
