A lot of participants in the NDIS aren’t completely sure of their long-term goals. This is understandable, and your plan will focus on your immediate needs while offering you the chance to reflect on your longer-term needs and goals. The Early Intervention part of the NDIS has been established to help people who believe their impairment or condition is likely to be permanent. Early intervention can help improve your condition or delay its deterioration while assisting you with completing everyday tasks.
This is also granted for children under 6 years of age with a developmental delay that results in substantially reduced functional capacity in one or more of the areas of self-care, language, cognitive development or motor development. If your child needs special care and treatments for extended durations, checking their eligibility for the NDIS could grant you much-needed support.
