Safe Environments for Children & Young People

Safe Environments training helps you understand your responsibilities in reporting suspected risk and harm to the Child Abuse Report Line (CARL). This training is required for team members who provide services directly to children or come into significant contact whilst at work.

Course Description 

This training is applicable to team members in South Australia only.

This full-day course (or 3-hour refresher) will support you to understand and your obligations under the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 to provide child safe environments within your role in working with or alongside children. If you have a current full-day certificate due to expire, you can register to attend the 3-hour refresher course.

Certificates are typically valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Course Delivery and Assessment Requirements 

Training is conducted virtual via Qintil Classroom. You will receive an email confirmation closer to the date of training and another email containing the link to join the Qintil Classroom moments before the webinar is due to commence.

Entry Requirements 

You must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet, a working webcam and microphone to complete this training.
