HenderCare Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organisation, committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people living with disabilities or under the care of child protection services and who are unable to live in their family home. Our large team of caring professionals take immense pride in our capacity to respond to the unique needs of every child and young person.
To ensure that every child and young person placed into the care of HenderCare Foundation feels safe, nurtured and is heard.
At HenderCare Foundation we believe that children and young people thrive in a safe, nurturing environment that is responsive to their individual needs for development and healing. By experiencing relationships that are built on trust, respect and reliability, children and young people are supported to build connections with peers, safe adults, and the community and embrace their identity. As children and young people grow in self-confidence and develop resilience, they can aspire to a future that is meaningful, fulfilling and self-determining.
The Foundation is seeking care workers to provide care, guidance and support to children and young people under Guardianship of the Chief Executive, Department for Child Protection (DCP). If you want to help make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people, we want to hear from you.
