Personal Care Worker (Residential Aged Care Experience)

We're looking for experienced staff to join our team in providing high-quality personal care to clients living in residential facilities throughout Adelaide. 

About the role

In this casual role, you'll be supporting our clients in residential facilities. Some of the services you'll be providing include:

  • personal care, like showering and dressing
  • transfers
  • meal preparation
  • assistance eating
  • light domestic duties
  • transport
  • respite and social support

We offer competitive pay rates, paid weekly, and our team of friendly coordinators are available to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round.

Locations

At HenderCare we aim to deliver services wherever there is customer need. As a result, we are constantly looking for workers across a range of areas. These areas currently include:

  • Adelaide Metro 

Our ideal candidate

You will have:

  • Certificate 3 or 4  in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
  • current Provide First Aid Certificate HLTAID003
  • current Provide CPR Certificate HLTAID001
  • current Manual Handling Certificate
  • current DHS (formally known as DCSI) Aged Care and Child-related clearances
  • experience in providing services to older persons or people with a disability
  • reliable transport

Applicants with experience in residential facilities will be highly regarded.
