We are looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse/Complex Care to join our growing Adelaide team.

About the role

In this role, you will be working closely with NDIS participants. Responsibilities include, however are not limited to:

  • development and implementation of person-centered care plans in the community.
  • functional, behavioural, and clinical assessments for people with disabilities.
  • create and implement complex care plans in line with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Restrictive Practices.
  • maintenance of a participant's independence and safety through ADL upskilling programs with allocated staff.
  • identification, establishment and review of goals with clients, carers and families.
  • training of allocated staff as per developed and approved care plans.

Our ideal candidate

You must have:

  • unrestricted working rights in Australia. 
  • degree or higher qualification in nursing
  • current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with at least 5 years recent experience in Australia.
  • extensive understanding and proven experience providing leadership in clinical nursing care and assessment within the disability sector.
  • experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • prepared to undertake training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to be registered as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Commission.
  • proven ability to assess & develop complex, behaviour & clinical care plans for people with disabilities.
  • current or willingness to obtain the relevant DHS clearances.
  • current Driver’s licence.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • be committed to delivering person-centred care.
  • have a positive attitude, work well within a team environment and autonomously, and actively engage in decision-making processes.
  • excellent problem-solving skills.
