As a national provider for aged care and disability services, HenderCare provides a variety of roles for a growing number of staff across South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, ACT and Tasmania.

Our clients are our focus here at HenderCare and when speaking with one of our registered nurses and Home Care Package coordinators, Joan Richichi, this is very evident and is why we are confident in maintaining excellent relationships with clients now and into the future.

Joan, can you describe your role at HenderCare?

“I am a registered nurse and I coordinate Home Care Packages for Hendercare.

My role involves me visiting potential clients and running them through our Home Care including how HenderCare can best support them to continue living happily and safely in their own homes.

Once I have signed the potential client up, my role is to support and provide suitable services for the needs of the client.

This support can vary from staff, equipment, guidance, and advice and liaising between family and other health providers.”

How long have you been working with HenderCare and what inspired you to join the team?

I have been with HenderCare for almost 2 years now.

I had heard good things from people who received services or working within HenderCare and it encouraged me to apply.

“I haven’t looked back since.”

Can you tell us about a highlight of working at HenderCare?

“I have met many wonderful people, both in the working environment and the client’s that have joined Hendercare.

It’s not about how or what I’m assisting them with but what I feel I get from them; they make me feel valued.”
