Updating email signatures

  • 2 mins

HenderCare and HenderCare Foundation now have centralised email signatures which are “stamped” onto emails sent externally.

The key things you need to be aware of are:

  • If you have not done so already, you need to delete your Outlook signature (please click here to watch a short video on how to do this)
  • Once deleted, please send a test email to an external email (for example, your personal gmail or hotmail etc)
  • Review your test email and ensure all title and phone details are correct, emailing IT if any of your contact details are not correct

The above is important as if you do not delete your Outlook email, you will be sending two email signatures to anyone outside the organisation.

What does my new email signature look like?

When you send emails to other members of the HenderCare team, your email signature will be blank.

However, as emails leave HenderCare’s system (whether via mobile or desktop) they will be “stamped” with the email signature and this will appear in emails sent outside of the organisation. Your new email signature will appear like the below to anyone without an @hendercare.com.au email.

(please note, HenderCare Foundation and Payroll email signatures will look slightly different)

Quick tip: If you receive an email from a colleague and are unsure what their role is, please hover your mouse over the sender’s name and you will be presented with a photo, title and contact details for the sender.

If you have any questions, please email IT Helpdesk.

Thank you.
