HenderCare is committed to providing continuing professional development to its nurses and support workers. We want to provide staff with professional development that advances their skills and competencies so that they can grow and develop professionally whilst they are employed by the agency.
Nurses in Australia are required to undertake 20 hours of continuing professional development annually to remain registered. HenderCare provides fully funded mandatory competency training to its nurses.
HenderCare requires its support workers to attend mandatory competency training modules annually and participate in the agency’s Professional Development Program.
The agency’s Professional Development Program incorporates mandatory competency training and a myriad of training modules which are of interest and benefit to our nurses and support workers.
